I travelled with 3 my sisters and we took 2 different tours with Remco, owner of Holland Discovery Tours. We started with the" Amsterdam in a nutshell" walking tour and the next day did a tour of Zaanse Schans and the fishing village, Marken. We were very happy with both tours. The tour of Amsterdam was informative and interesting. Remco was born and raised in the area and has done a lot of research into all aspects of life in Amsterdam. We fit a lot into our tour, and he was responsive to all our requests! The next day he picked us up in his car and we drove to Zaanse Schans and the surrounding areas. Remco was informative and helpful. When our tour was wrapping up, we had a little extra time, so Remco drove us around the farming areas to see the beautiful landscapes. He also knew of a place where we could get very fresh, non-pasturized Dutch milk at a dairy. While I was a little leery of non-pasturized milk, it was incredible! (And I didn't get sick!) I strongly recommend touring with Remco. We were all very happy with our tours!
