    This neighborhood is in the middle of our tours in the East part of downtown. Here you will see and hear about the citys expanding history.

    Very Close to the New Market area is the heart of the Jewish district of Amsterdam. We will point out this historic Landmark as we discuss our historic link to Jewish immigration.

    The Dam square is the heart of the downtown and we pass by this monument during the tour to talk about some historic buildings.

  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Sean sought us out at the meeting place which is important when you are in another country. He took us around the less touristy areas and gave us a unique perspective on life and history in Amsterdam. Sean's bar and restaurant suggestions turned out to be excellent - filled with locals and tourists alike.

A delightful walking tour through Amsterdam! Sean, our guide was friendly, polite and super knowledgeable. We felt we really got to know Amsterdam's history, culture, geography and architecture. There wasn't a question our guide couldn't answer. This tour is absolutely worth it!

Our host was very knowledgeable and gave good summaries of the various historical places and events. We enjoyed the tour very much. Our only recommendation to other guests doing it in the colder months would be to dress warmly, the Amsterdam cold hits different!
