I had honestly forgot this included the Bols Museum/Experience as well as the cocktial making class, so that was a nice surprise. It felt a little bit like the Johnnie Walker Scotch experience (if you've been), in that it was partly interactive, allowing you to do a "sensory" room and smell many different ingredients, which made it fun. At the end, you get a drink and then, during the cocktail making course, you make two more. So definitely don't arrive on an empty stomach, ha. It was interesting to hear the history of J/Genever, as I had honestly not heard about it until coming here (and I am a big cocktail person). Jennifer was our bartender and she was fanstastic, being patient and kind when half the class did not follow instructions correctly, and making sure everyone had a great time. I have been to other places throughout europe that do a "cocktail making course" and those have been pretty "meh" - often times just replicating a few drinks from "Sex and the City;" this felt like a unique experience using unique ingredients, so it was a lot more fun.
