Yet Zaanse Schans is not a museum, there are actual people living in the houses and several windmills are still working. Our driver Johan met us on time and was very friendly and courteous. He pointed out many interesting sites on our drive out of town, and was very helpful the whole trip. Can't recommend them enough. A great experience.
