Learn everything about the tulips. At the museum, we take you on the tulip’s journey around the world. From its discovery in Kazakhstan around the year 1000 to its current status as an icon of the Netherlands. You will find out all about the tulip and learn in an interactive way about the cycle of bulb cultivation using state-of-the-art machinery and old objects (from before 1950). After the museum, the Experience continues outside and you will step into a beautiful palette of colours. In the show garden, 1 million tulips are planted in 700 different varieties of tulips. All tulip varieties come from our own nursery. At the end of the Tulp Experience you can pick your own tulips for free! Over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. A unique, unforgettable experience! After the flower gardens you will visit the great Dutch windmills and a local cheese and clogs factory incl. a real farm with cows. See how the milking robot milk the cows.

In the Keukenhof you have free time for yourself to explore the largest flower garden of the world!

    Discover the great Dutch Windmills and make some nice pictures of it. There are 7 windmills left at the Zaanse Schans and a few are open to visit. You can visit the paint windmill (that is where Rembrandt the great Dutch artist purchased his paint), a saw mill, a spice mill and many more. Admission to the windmill park and parking costs are included in this tour.

Perfect day exploring the tulips and windmills as a family. From the moment he picked us up, Gilio was an excellent driver and host for our day. The timing at each stop was the perfect amount of time, we never felt rushed for time or that we had too much time. Gilio was happy to take group photos for us at each stop and they turned out great. The pickup at our hotel was on time and it was so nice to be dropped back off at the hotel. We have nothing but great things to say about our day!

Cornelius was such a gracious and helpful guide. His van was immaculate and he thoughtfully had water, chargers, etc. He was on time, prepared for our day and a delight to spend time with! Highly recommend!
