Having been lucky to secure tickets months ago, we finally made it, and OMG what an exhibition. Beautifully presented and a total joy to see. Vermeer's work (in the oil) is breathtaking. Not too busy when we went (after lunch) so we were able to see everything easily. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'm do grateful I saw it.

We visited purely for the Vermeer exhibition. It was well organised with it's own entrance and the paintings were well laid out. You could with patience get to see each picture up close. They are truly breathtaking. However, girl with a pearl earring, that is on the exhibit list and much of the literature,is not actually there, very disappointing. The Nightwatch is undergoing restoration, so a clear view is not possible. The cafe worked well and the cake and coffee was lovely, with not too long a wait.
