You’ll explore familiar names like Rembrandt while discussing lesser known items like 17th century dollhouses and Vermeer’s portrait of domesticity, “The Milkmaid.” There’s even a fascinating 19th century library containing more stories than you could ever tell.

This tour was even better than I expected!! Anna Nikolaev’s was absolutely incredible and a wealth of information about the museums, the art and artifacts, the artists, and some of the history of the times. She was engaging and entertaining with a lot of knowledge she was excited to share. She was also very flexible with us when we were late getting there due to ride shortages with the rain. We went on a Monday which was slightly less crowded and went with another couple. Our husbands were not enthusiastic about going but they both got into Anna’s stories and interesting facts. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We will use her again if we return!

The two guides we had boggled our minds with such fresh, stimulating and lots to think about information. If you go ask for Hank to tour the Rijksmuseum and Anna to tour the Van Gogh museum. Both have vibrant personalities and love for art, that gives you the same for the works you are privileged to see.
