    Feel the wind through your hair as you fly over Dutch world heritage sites and see the canals, polders, bulb fields, Delta Protection Works and other beautiful places in the Netherlands from a new perspective. Learn how this extraordinary country below sea level was created and continues to exist. First, you get an overview of how the Netherlands was created: how it was made by people who weren’t deterred by all the water. Using mounds, dikes, windmills and polders, they succeeded in reclaiming land from the sea, creating this extraordinary country below sea level. The high point of This is Holland is The Flight Experience: you feel like you’re really flying. To achieve this, This is Holland uses the latest technology. You’ll be one of 40 people suspended under a huge domed screen, with your hands and feet dangling freely. Your seat will tilt during the eight-minute long film that guides you through a breath taking journey along many beautiful places in our country. Atmospheric effects like wind, mist and smells, makes it feel as though you’re really flying through the air, crossing dikes and braving storms. This is Holland was given permission by municipalities, nature organizations and UNESCO to film Dutch world heritage sites from the air. Now, This is Holland is making these unique images available to the general public. After the flight you can relax in our Holland lounge, where you can find out more about the sights you’ve flown over. The Netherlands is particularly interesting to experience this way, because from the air you get a good picture of its flat patchwork quilt landscape and of the hard work invested in this unique landscape.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

I get this attraction once a yer as an special offer, but the first time I went, I was blown away, brilliant ride! this year I went again bringing a friend and told him to have no expectations. I had totally fogotten how brilliant this ride is. I was expecting to sit in a rollercoaster chair and to stare at an Imax type movie, but the ride grips you from the first minute, when you hold on for dear life not to fall into a deep hole the interactions with various object along the trip is extremely well done (warning: spoilers) like almost hitting a windmill, smelling the flowers or getting wet from a fountain .(spoilers finished) My friend and I agreed that this experience would be worth paying full price for (he's already planned to take his mum and best friend. this is nty a calm viewing of a movie, but a ride you'd expect at Disney or Universal studios. ps: the staff were great to, I was the one walking around with a walking stick, and I got offered helt, and the lift all the time, very helpful, thanks for that.

Na een hele lange tijd heb ik weer een bezoekje gebracht aan This is Holland met de tijdelijke Stadspas actie! Iedereen was weer erg vriendelijk en de groepsgrootte was perfect! Voor mijn gevoel waren er wat nieuwe scènes toegevoegd aan de experience wat het nog leuker maakte! Dit is zeker een aanrader als je meer wil leren over Nederland! Ook makkelijk te combineren met een bezoekje aan de A’DAM Lookout of het EYE Filmmuseum! Ik kom zeker nog eens terug!
