During this 7-hour tour your private guide will introduce you to Amsterdam’s rich history, culture and traditions of over 800 years. How did the Golden Age influence urban development in Amsterdam and why did the Unesco Heritage list Canal Belt existed. We will show you countless interesting sights and amazing views inside and outside the historic city center. We will make some photo stop’s during the walking tour. This tour will also include a visit to the van Gogh Museum and the Rijks Museum, where we take time to admire and dive into the collections of paintings of old Dutch masters like van Gogh, Rembrandt and Vermeer.

We all really enjoyed our walking tour and guided museum tour with Steve. He showed us parts of Amsterdam we probably would never have found and explained a lot of the long history and interesting stories of the city. Touring the museums with him was also excellent as he knew where to go to see the best of them and had lots of background knowledge about the artists and the pieces. Would definitely recommend it!

Our guide, Steven, was one of the most fantastic guides I’ve had while taking tours abroad! He was incredibly knowledgeable about history, the pathways and buildings of Amsterdam, and he was an incredible art informant in the museums! He was patient, pleasant, and incredibly thorough! Definitely take this trip!
