Begin your half-day tour with a private pickup from your Athens hotel or other accommodation. Hop inside your comfortable, air-conditioned executive car or minivan and admire the scenery as you travel along the coast to Corinth. Stop to see the Corinth Canal, the narrow, 19th-century canal that links the Saronic Gulf of the Aegean Sea with Ionian Sea. Take snaps here and then continue to the archaeological site of ancient Corinth, an important trading city in Greek and Roman times that stood at the meeting point of southern and northern Greece. Here, explore the ruined temples, bathhouse, forum and theater, and see the bema — a stone platform where it’s believed St Paul once stood in front of gathered judges. Continue to Acrocorint on top of the hill. As you stroll around the sun-baked relics, stop to soak up wonderful views over the Saronic Gulf in the distance. Afterwards, make an optional stop for lunch, where you can taste Greek traditional dishes and enjoy a local wine.

Amazing tour with a knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended. We followed the footsteps of the apostle Paul in Corinth. The guide ties in the sights and museum with verses from the Bible.

Would highly recommend this trip to Ancient Corinth. Our driver George was incredibly knowledgeable about Greece, the culture, and the tour itself. He took us to all the major sites, and even tild us where to have an outstanding authentic Greek lunch.

Our trip to Ancient Corinth was spectacular. We had a very safe trip, the cannal was beautiful, a real wonder and the Museum and sanctuary were extremely interesting. George was the best tour guide, indeed! Very respectful, cordial and highly knowledgeable about Greek history and the areas we visited. Quite frankly we would Highlander recommend this excursion and George to future visitors.
