I recently booked us on a walking tour in Granada, through Albayzin and Sacromonte. and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Spain! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the city’s rich history and culture. We explored charming neighborhoods, climbed lots of steps (beware if you dont like climbing), and enjoyed exploring the narrow, winding streets and stunning views of the Alhambra, and learned so much about Granada’s fascinating blend of Moorish and Spanish influences.
The pace was perfect—not too rushed, but we still saw a lot in a couple of hours. The guide shared interesting stories and pointed out hidden gems we never would’ve noticed on our own. We even got some great local recommendations for food and flamenco spots afterward! The gypsy caves were a little disappointing, but the rest of the tour made it all worthwhile.
If you're visiting Granada, I highly recommend starting with this tour. It’s a fantastic way to get oriented and truly appreciate what makes this city so special.
