    Our party of 4 arrived 10 minutes late for our 9 am tour and found, after much effort at inquiring about why there was no one around to speak to, that the tour had left and we could not join them and there was nothing that could be done--We had not been advised in advance that 10 minutes would have made it impossible to see the Alhambra, to which we had all been looking

    Visit Alhambra is a must in Andalusia. The guide was very good: very informative and never boring. However, I found it expensive: 60 euros per person for a 30 people guided tour. To be honest I would have preferred the visit without guide at regular price (14 euros...) but Alhambra regular tickets were sold out already 2 months ago (Christmas time). Joining guided and expensive tour visit was the only way to see Alhambra. Once in the life... Keep in mind that you can take your time in the gardens after the end of the guided tour.
