Alhambra Private Tour with tickets included

Marta was a delightful and personable guide. We loved every moment of the tour. She was intelligent and well-informed on the things we were shown. We felt our time and money were very well spent.

My family of 5 with three tween/teens booked a private tour of the Alhambra less than 48 hours before. We had already purchased our tickets to the site, but at the last minute decided to add a guide to get more about it based on other experiences on our trip. Walk in Granada could not have been more helpful in responding to my last minute emails and setting everything up. Our guide Louis was amazing - so knowledgeable, perfect English, engaging and we were able to see everything (he even kept my 10 year old going when she started to get tired). I don’t think there is any way we would have seen or understood even a fraction of what we saw without him. He also took us in the guide entrances so we didn’t have to wait at any monument checkpoints which was great. Truly a highlight of our vacation and highly recommend!

Jenny Carrera was our private tour guide for our tour of the Alhambra. This was a three-hour walking tour for a family group of 15. We requested the tour in English because most of our group was English-only speakers, but Ms. Carrera was bilingual and able to answer questions from the group in English or Spanish (Castilian). Ms. Carrera brought so much to the tour. We had children in the group and her knowledge of history helped keep the kids interested. She was also patient with the group as sometimes the group moved slowly due to finding interesting things, asking questions, or just pausing for pictures. I strongly recommend using a guide to provide you with historical context and answer questions when touring the Alhambra. Although I am sure most guides are knowledgeable and add to the experience, I highly recommend Ms. Carrera for her ability to lead the group at a good pace while providing interesting facts and history that one would not get while walking around on their own. Also, having someone knowledgeable to ask questions made the experience better than just using an app or listening to pre-recorded narration on a listening device. Ms. Carrera's tour was well worth the cost of the private tour.
