    the ticket office was very far from the entrance. we walked 15-20 minutes only to learn that they issued the tickets for the wrong day - one day after I was to leave the country. they acknowledged they made a mistake, but bw drove 2.5 hours only not to be able to get in. they didn't offer anything except "sorry" I was told I will be reimbursed $133.05 within 5 days, but it has been a week and I haven't been reimbursed. too many middlemen. too much room for mistakes

    Absolutely amazing place . You really need the best part of a day here as it’s such a big area and so much to see. A must thing to do if you’re in Granada

    Excellent day. Picked up my (pre booked by Trip advisor) tickets from ‘My Top Tours’ after getting taxi from Granada My Top Tours us a ticket agent. The Alhambra doesn’t issue tickets itself, it farms out the ticketing to different agents. This one is very well positioned as it’s also the start point of the lovely walk up to Alhambra. Ask Top Tours which order they recommend. Follow the path to the left of the road after the archway! A steep-ish walk. An expensive cafe with some seating is at the top (just before you go through barrier / entrance to the site). There are eating/drink points and loos on the site.
