Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus

This experience is like swimming in history, such a magical place. It dates from the 13th Century and is candlelit. Add a massage onto your visit.

Stupendo Hammam nel cuore di Granada. Perfetto dopo aver camminato tanto per visistare la città. Ambiente che ricorda l'alhambra per le architetture in una delle sale. Non troppo grande, è composto da una piccola piscina d'acqua fredda, due piscine d'acqua calda, una piscina d'acqua tiepida e stanza per bagno di vapore. Molto suggestivo, luci soffuse, silenzio e profumi, anche romantico. A seconda del personale sono più o meno gentili. Io ho trovato molto gentile le persone nei due shop e l'operatore che ci ha fa chiamato per uscire meno la ragazza della reception e l'operatrice che ci ha fatto entrare. Purtroppo non è consentito fare foto. Ottimo che offrano tisane. Prezzo un po' alto visto che l'esperienza dura 1 ore e mezza ma direi che per una volta vale la pena. I prezzi dei prodotti invece sono ottimi e di qualità. Per accedere consiglio di prenotare prima (se ci riuscite) sul sito. Non servono ciabatte, questo forse poco igienico. Vi daranno telo e asciugamano. Ottimo dopo l'esperienza non vi faranno fretta per preparvi e vi forniranno tutto dai prodotti di qualità ad asciugacapelli e piastra.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Hamman. It was a perfect respite in the midst of a busy trip. After checking in, you change into your bathing suit and store belongings in a locker. If you're with other people, they wait until you're all changed and out of the locker rooms to give you the overview of the different baths. Your group/you will be called at any point in your hour and a half for your massage, then you can return to the baths. Don't get hung up on the timing - just enjoy the different spaces and experiences. It's so relaxing if you let it be! Compared to the US, great value for the $.
