On this private day trip from Granada city to Cordoba and the Arabic Mosque, you will experience the charm and delights of Cordoba. This ancient city was long ago the capital of Spain during Moorish times and the largest city in Europe. With our private local Cordoba guide, we will visit the impressive Arabic Mosque, giving you an insight into Cordoba's past and history. The Mosque at the time was the largest in the world and after the conquest by the Christians, a Cathedral was built right in the middle of the Mosque! Our tour of the Córdoba Mosque/Cathedral with Verónica was a highlight of our time in Spain. The history & architecture means so much to her, & she infuses her tour with so much knowledge & emotion. We really enjoyed our time with her. Nacho was our driver from Granada to Córdoba & back. He was a good driver, was punctual, & took care of us when there was an issue with the car on the way back.
