Join us as we travel to the province of Granada, where we will start by discovering Lanjarón, the first city of the Alpujarra, as we head south. Then, pass through impressive landscapes until we reach Pampaneira, one of the highest cities in Spain and Europe. Here we will enjoy breathtaking views of the Poqueira Valley and you can take stunning pictures as the perfect souvenir. My wife and I are Australian we were with a couple of Spanish ladies unfortunately we were put into a taxi for the tour. Far too small a vehicle for four people plus driver to spend over five hours a day driving. I suggest it would be fine for three people not four. Although our driver was friendly and knowledgeable he spent most of the day talking in Spanish to the other couple which made us feel very second class

Fantástica ruta por la Alpujarra! Fuimos 5 personas y tuvimos la furgoneta y al guía para nosotros solos, un lujo! Carlos, el guía, conoce la zona y vive lo que cuenta, ha sido un placer aprender de él y conocer esta zona y su historia, totalmente desconocida para mí y mi familia. La gestión con Anera Travel/Discovering Spain también fue muy bien, todo claro y pago fácil. La furgoneta en la que fuimos era nueva y muy cómoda y bien cuidada. Si vais a la Alpujarra, recomiendo llevar las botellas de agua vacías y llenarlas con el agua fresca de las fuentes.

Como estábamos sólo dos personas apuntadas para hacer la ruta, nos ha llevado Daniel en su taxi y ha hecho de guía. Nos han encantado los pueblos y el entorno, pero sobretodo el guia, es de la zona y nos ha contado muchas curiosidades.
