Wow, what a great day we had on this tour with our guide, Michael, despite the gloomy, cold & rainy day.
1st stop at the lower village was great! Had coffee, tried the chocolate and bought a few souvenirs.
2nd stop was very interesting! We tried the water directly from the spout off the wall and went down 68 steps to a beautiful Waterfall.
Last stop was at the highest point where we had a nice lunch. Took a little longer than expected but it was a Sat & they were busy. Didn't have much time to shop but, had a glass of wine at a bar by the bus stop.
But truly what made this tour even better (besides the beautiful views) was Michael. Wow, what a true gentleman. So friendly. Full of knowledge. Very passionate about his work. Had a few secret stops that we loved.
Definitely recommend. Great Dat if you want to experience more than the busy city center. And if you get Michael, I can assure you, you'll have an even better day!

This was an amazing day. We were the only english speakers on this tour. The guide spoke english and all commentary was in both languages. Did a great job during the tour to bring the group together. The other participants (6 or 7) were from Spain on holiday. We toured together, had lunch, and took pictures of and for each other. At the end everyone parted friends and enjoyed the interactions.
We met at a small plaza early in the morning, the guide took us to the van and drove the entire route. Lots of views/ stops along the way. Layers of history as we walked the paths and heard the historical details of each location. The tour ran 10-11 hours as no one was in a hurry to return. Not for children.
You will go to a higher altitude , cooler, and need to walk. Some members tired and the tour allowed for pauses for those who needed it. The tour group was primarily middle to older ages. Very welcoming. My wife and I were older than most of the others and we were able to keep up better than younger ones.
The guide introduced us to locals and believe it or not, one elder, 88 yrs old had never left the village or ever heard of the Americas. Great picture taking and wandering opportunities. My limited knowledge of the language encouraged others to try their english.
Great pictures and the guide pointed out picture spots. Layers of history everywhere.
Lunch was excellent. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We will not forget this day, the people , and the stunning views we all shared. Would never of seen without this tour. We prefer smaller tours and this one is a good one.
Thanks
