WE TOUR NELSON'S DOCKYARD, SHIRLEYS HEIGHTS & SNORKEL This is a guided tour by a local spearfisherman. Taking in all the sights and sounds of the island on land and in the sea, with a very high chance of snorkeling with sea turtles, and a definite chance of seeing two shipwrecks! The snorkel is in mostly shallow water, off of a beach. THIS IS NOT A BOAT TOUR. Your snorkel guide enjoys spearfishing and can show you things while snorkeling you never even knew were below you! This is a private tour, meaning you will be the only travelers. It is roughly 4 hours long. There is cold water in the vehicle. Lunch is not provided on the tour. You will also have videos of you snorkeling around the shipwrecks and turtles emailed to you after the tour. If you don't wish to snorkel or if not all travelers would like to participate in the snorkel that is okay as well. Admission to national parks not included, it is 15$USD for two tickets, meaning you only pay one time.

Had an incredible time on our snorkeling excursion! Johnny was fantastic—super knowledgeable about the area and marine life, and made the whole experience fun and engaging from start to finish. He went above and beyond by taking GoPro photos and videos underwater, which he’s sending to us afterward—such a great way to remember the experience. He’s also sharing a documentary about the island and the sights we explored, which shows how much care he puts into his work. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a well-organized, memorable snorkeling adventure with a personal touch!

Johnny was an excellent guide with an immense knowledge of the islands history; a great half day tour seeing Nelson's Dockyard, Shirley Heights and snorkeling in Galleon Bay.
Johnny picked us up promptly at 9am as we requested, and drove us across the island to Nelson's dockyard. It was a great history lesson about the British military, and the use of the island as a good fortification and stronghold. It was amazing to learn how Antigua has so many natural harbors and was a heavily sought after place for that reason.
We then went to Shirley Heights which was a beautiful spot to see the harbor and on a good day other islands. Its a nice spot to stay and take the view in for some time.
The final activity was snorkeling in Galleon Bay which did not disappoint! Johnny helped us find a turtle eating, and several schools of fish, and squid swimming in and around the ship wrecks that were just off the shore. He took pictures with his GoPro and emailed them to us afterwards.
I would highly recommend this tour! Johnny was even so kind to offer us anything that we needed in town and was willing to stop. If you want a solid history lesson and a great underwater experience, book with Johnny!

Johnny was an amazing tour guide! Not only did we go snorkeling but had a guided tour of the sites in Antigua. We got to experience amazing views and he offered to take pictures of us to document our experience! Snorkeling was everything I expected and more! For beginners he was patient with us and took his time making us comfortable with the gear. We got to see a sea turtle, fish and multiple ship wrecks. He made sure that we were comfortable along our journey and ended our excursion with a cold much needed water! I would highly recommend this experience!!
