To reserve a national park, please choose one from the options provided. Each reservation is for one park only, and you may select either a morning or evening safari. Please leave a note to inform us of your preferred park. The Jeep tour will commence from the main entrance of the park near the car park. If your hotel is within a 10km radius of the entrance, you are entitled to a complimentary pickup from your hotel in Habarana or Minneriya. The morning safari starts at 6:00 am, while the afternoon safari begins at 1:00 pm. During the safari, you will have the opportunity to witness groups of elephants, and crocodiles resting on the banks or swimming in the lakes, and vibrant birds of prey fishing. You may also encounter various other birds and animals, including herds of elephants visiting to quench their thirst and rest.

I booked a jeep safari and had an overall enjoyable experience. The driver was very friendly, the jeep was comfortable, and we even got to see some elephants, which made the trip special. However, I’m not convinced that we were actually taken to Minneriya National Park as promised. The gate we entered had a different name, which I unfortunately don’t remember. I asked the driver, but his explanation wasn’t clear and left me a bit unsure. While I appreciated the service and the scenery, I wish there had been more clarity about the destination. It felt like we might’ve been taken to a cheaper, smaller substitute park.

we had such a great day, we saw so many elephants - it was so a cool experience. kumara our driver was really well experinced he had such a great mentallity. overall we really enjoyed the halfday with him. recommend it 100%

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig am Abend vorher eine Safari im Minneriya National Park bei Kumara (Boss) gebucht für 4h um 7Uhr inklusive Abholung beim Hotel (in Habarana). Es wurde dann der "Habarana Eco Park" vorgeschlagen, weil dort wohl mehr Tiere sind zur Zeit. Unserer Fahrer war Kumara (Fahrer). Wir würden pünktlich abgeholt und die Kommunikation mit Kumara hat sehr gut funktioniert. Es gab Getränke und ein Fernglas und es ging dann auch direkt los. Wir haben Pfauen, ein Chamäleon und sehr viele Elefanten gesehen (ca. 20). Durch seine Erfahrung waren wir sehr häufig der erste Jeep vor Ort und hatten so einen perfekten Blick auf die Tiere. Kumara hat auch Fotos gemacht und war sehr hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen und auch immer für einen Spaß zu haben. Die Safari hatte mehrere Stops bei den Tieren. Am Ende sind wir noch zu einem View-Point gefahren wo es einen Hochstand gab von dem aus wir den ganzen Park überblicken konnten. Wir können die Safari sehr empfehlen und vor allem nochmal ein Lob an Kumara für die wunderbare Safari und einzigartige Erfahrungen.
