To reserve a national park, please choose one from the options provided. Each reservation is for one park only, and you may select either a morning or evening safari. Please leave a note to inform us of your preferred park. The Jeep tour will commence from the main entrance of the park near the car park. If your hotel is within a 10km radius of the entrance, you are entitled to a complimentary pickup from your hotel in Habarana or Minneriya. The morning safari starts at 6:00 am, while the afternoon safari begins at 1:00 pm. During the safari, you will have the opportunity to witness groups of elephants, and crocodiles resting on the banks or swimming in the lakes, and vibrant birds of prey fishing. You may also encounter various other birds and animals, including herds of elephants visiting to quench their thirst and rest.

It was great. We were sceptical a bit in the beginning as the tour has started in the Spice Garden, which we didn't want to do and the weather wasn't nice, it was rainy and stormy but... I guess it worked in our favour because at times there was just us in the park, with no cars surrounding. The best moments. We have seen a lot of elephants and it was just spectacular. Being so close to nature is a true privilege. And our guide was the sweetest person - good job!!

Brilliant communication throughout via Whatsapp, pick up & drop off went smoothly, the driver knew where to go to see the Elephants and was always on communication with other drivers to seek them out. We went in the morning so the traffic was minimum in the park, some friends went in the afternoon and there were a horrendous amount of jeeps trying to all get a look in.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Schon einen Tag vorher wurden wir kontaktiert und gefragt, ob wir unsere Tour auf eine günstigere Uhrzeit verlegen möchten – zunächst waren wir überrascht, doch am nächsten Tag wurde uns klar, warum: Unser Fahrer Kumara wusste genau, wann und wo die beste Gelegenheit war, Elefanten zu sehen. Dank seiner jahrelangen Erfahrung konnte er frühzeitig vorausahnen, wohin sich die Herde als Nächstes bewegen würde. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns seine respektvolle Art im Umgang mit den Tieren. Anstatt sie zu stören oder zu bedrängen, ließ er ihnen den Raum, sich uns auf natürliche Weise zu nähern. Das Ergebnis: Wir konnten 13 Elefanten gleichzeitig beobachten – ein atemberaubendes und einmaliges Erlebnis, das wir nie vergessen werden! Wer eine Safari mit echtem Respekt für die Tiere und die Natur erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank für dieses unvergessliche Abenteuer!
