Gran parte della città molto moderna, molte costruzioni nuove, ma molte anche lasciate a metà,unico porto della Giordania, ne brutta ne bella, per vedere la barriera corallina del mar Rosso è necessario fare delle escursioni non come altre città egiziane dove puoi fare snorkeling da riva. Si può vedere ma non soggiornarvi più di un paio di giorni.
