Stretching out in a line from the town of Wadi Musa, visitors enter the park and then follow the trail into the Siq, the legendary canyon where tourists get their first views of the Treasury. Continue the walk past the Treasury, visiting the Royal Tombs and Roman ruins. Those with enough time and enough energy can continue onto the Monastery, another monument that rivals the Treasury in its splendor. There are numerous other side trips and interesting things to see in Petra, as well as rides on camels and donkeys if you so desire.

    With your English speaking guide (Own Expenses- No Included in the Rate) , walk through the 1.2km long Siq (chasm) to reach the rose-red city of Petra, passing the remains of Nabataean shrines, tombs, water channels, wall carvings and some of the original paving stones. See the magnificent Treasury as you exit the Siq, explore the Street of Facades, the Roman Theatre, Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, Byzantine Church, Winged Lion's Temple, Qasr al Bint, and the Petra Museum where your guided tour will end. Entrance fees to be paid upon arrival, if Jordan pass isn't available.

    Arrival to Wadi Rum after 1.5hours drive from Petra by our driver. He will be drop you off at Rum visitor center to be picked up in a 4x4 Jeep (Local Bedouin cars) - (Own Expense) for a 2 hours discovering Wadi Rum site a uniquely shaped massive mountain that rose among the rosy, red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish and golden colors.

We were very fortunate to meet Mr Mohammed Jazara at the Movenpick Hotel's tour desk while looking for a day trip to Petra. He offered us a combined Petra-Wadi Rum sunset/Bedouin dinner tour and promptly picked us up at 7am the next morning as promised. It was a long day but we loved every minute and especially enjoyed Mohammed's company and historical insights. The car we used was in great shape and had good A/C. We highly recommend this tour company.

I had a great drive, and a beautifull day în Petra. My driver waited for me at the exact time. One Day before, my pick-up hour was conformed by the company and all the details about it.
