Discover Buenos Aires from an anthropological point of view. Don't expect to just walk and listen: be prepared to talk, make questions and discuss about the past, present and future of the Argentinean capital.
Beginning in Lezama Park and ending in Casa Rosada, this walk offers you the chance to approach this beautiful city from its historical past in an attempt to understand its current present.
Who were the first inhabitants? Why were the British so interested in this shores? Where is the African-descendant population? Where did all these white people come from? What is the deal with Evita and Perón? Who were the "desaparecidos" during the military dictatorship? And why do we have such a big problem with the US dollar?
These are just some of the many questions we will try to answer in our walk through the most historical part of town.

This tour is a don’t miss! Nico is a wealth of BA knowledge, history, and fun facts but presents it in a way if you were just talking to a friend. We booked this tour on a whim and were blown away by how great it was. There were about 8-10 of us on the tour and it was a perfect size. I would recommend this to anyone (couples, families, solo travelers) looking to learn more about BA and Argentina.

What an amazing tour Ignacio gave us today! As we walked through the streets of several Buenos Aires neighborhoods we learned so much about the history of Buenos Aires and Argentina ranging from colonization, independence, dictatorships, immigration, economics, and so much more. It wasn't just Ignacio talking to us, he continually opened it up for our questions along the way. It's not your typical tourist walking tour, and I am so happy that I went on this tour today.

We took the tour and our guide Ivan was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the country and city, and was able to answer all the questions we threw at him. We enjoyed that this was a smaller group so there is time to talk and ask questions, vs some of the other tours we took in the city, where there were sometimes 20 or more people. Thank you for giving us a great introduction to your beautiful city.
