Excursion in 4x4 vehicles to Escondido and Fagnano lakes. Pick up at the hotels from 9:00 am. Departing from Ushuaia, we take the National Road Nº3 towards the north, passing through the winter valleys until reaching the Garibaldi pass, where we stop to take photos. We continue our trip until a complementary road is taken, to start the off-road that lasts about 1 hour. In Lake Fagnano, we stop for a moment to recover energy and then enjoy a refreshing lunch. Lunch and drinks are included. Full Day Excursion.

Tour Schedule: From 09:00 am to 04:30 pm (The duration and the schedule of the excursion are approximate and may change depending on the season of the year).
Remember to detail in your reservation the name of the Hotel where you will stay in Ushuaia for the pick up on the day of the excursion.
The exact pick up time from your hotel will be confirmed the day before the excursion, leaving a message for you at your hotel or we will contact you through the contact number that you have provided if you did.

    We will pick you up from your hotel and drive through National Route N3.
  • Valle Tierra Mayor, Ushuaia, Argentina
    Our first stop is in Tierra Mayor Valley.

  • Mirador de Lagos Escondido y Fagnano, Ushuaia, Argentina
    We are going to cross The Andes Mountains, through Garibaldi Pass! There, we will be able to see our first target: Escondido Lake. After this, we are going to head to woodcutter trails that only the 4x4 allows us to reach, crossing sites like forest, mud and rocks. Fagnano Lake will surprise us with its size and landscape. The guides will take the passengers through hidden trails in the forest of Ñires and Coihues, where it´s going to be possible to see a big variety of birds, red foxes, and beavers on their beaver dams.

  • Lago Fagnano, Tolhuin, Argentina
    This part of the journey ends at our refuge where a barbecue will be offered. While the meal is being prepared, you can walk around and discover the wilderness of the place. On lunch time, we invite you to enjoy the delicious beef BBQ with the best wine we have. (vegetarian/celiac menu too) The meal includes: cold snack, typical Argentinian barbecue, drinks (wine, soda, coffee, tea) and salads. This is a time to relax and recover energies.

    We return to Ushuaia by the national route N3 and drop you off at your hotel.
