    Estancia Cristina is tucked away in a pristine, north-westerly corner of Lake Argentino, at Los Glaciares National Park, near the incredible Upsala Glacier. From El Calafate, it’s a 50km drive to Puerto Bandera where an awaiting boat will depart for the scenic 2:30-hour navigation. Along the way, pass waterfront forests, towering mountains, bobbing icebergs and of course, the iconic Upsala Glacier , we head Estancia Cristina wher we land. A guide will welcome visitors and take them on an amazing ride. On this gentle horseback ride to Cristina Valley. We ride in a northerly direction, heading deeper into nature, cross the Caterina River and pass The Noria. Make your way on horseback along pathways covered with loose stone and moss, have lunch in Refugio Lago Pearson, then go back along the same route towards the starting point, the perfect time to take it all in. Later on, we will visit the Costumbrista Museum,where we can learn all about the history of the Masters family.

This was the most wonderful activity I did in Calafate! After viewing some icebergs on the lake we arrived at the estancia. My guide Juan Cruz greeted me and we walked to the staple. Everything was organized well. The 2 h ride to the shelter was spectacular! Lots of bids on the way. Juan prepared a fantastic lunch and we had a good bottle of Malbec. The ride back was sumilar spectacular with many river crossings. I can highly recommend this activity.

Realizamos la cabalgata. Impresionante los paisajes y la experiencia en general. Me sentí muy cuidada por los guías. La buena predisposición del personal es para destacar desde que se ingresa al barco hasta que se desciende de él al finalizar la excursión. El barco de traslado impecable, una atención excelente, limpieza y eficiencia. Almorzar con vistas a las montañas nevadas habiendo atravesado el agua con los caballos fue sublime. Recomiendo llevar vianda para almorzar ya que puedes hacerlo a orillas del agua rodeada de magníficos paisajes. También se puede pagar un almuerzo realizado por ellos. Tuve dos inconvenientes en los que ellos no tenían responsabilidad y me los solucionaron inmediatamente. Las instalaciones muy bien preparadas.

What an amazing place , if you can afford it stay the night, the boat trip was amazing if you stay you are in the vip area, staff excellent, place wonderful, food excellent ( breakfast just slow and needs some work), very special ,we horse rode in the rain!, you must do 4wd to glacier, view one of the most amazing ever seen in life, we then walked back 14km quite challenging but so special , condors amazing views and scenery, guides amazing so supportive and brought coffee and tea and cakes, one night is enough to do everything, very windy and weather changeable but a life experience, the history is amazing , just 6 staying when we were there lovely Americans we all ate together as such lovely people , fabulous experience
