Excellent way to get out of the city for a day. The property is beautiful and our guide Tomas was helpful and professional. The whole experience, from the commute to the mata to the horses to the lunch, was top notch.
We had a wonderful day at Argentina Polo Day. From the very start, when Tommy picked us up directly from home, we started having a great time. It was a small group of four people from different parts of the world, and everyone spoke English. Tommy kept a positive attitude and was caring and fun from the beginning of the trip until the end of the evening, when he dropped us off at home. The place itself... incredibly beautiful and impressive with its vast open spaces. We were greeted with a delicious breakfast, taught how to make mate properly, and shown a museum with ancient Gaucho artifacts. Then we went horseback riding. Most of our group were complete beginners, but Tommy gave a quick and clear briefing, and we all managed just fine. We rode around the area and enjoyed the local beauty—fields, pastures, animals, nature—trotting and even a little galloping. The horses were super well-trained and calm, and they knew what to do better than I did. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to control the horse, but everything went perfectly; we got along, and I relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Lunch with the Asado was excellent, with a wide variety of deliciously cooked meats, salads, wine, and sauces. Then we had time to rest and relax on the grass. After that, there was a second ride, and we even tried playing polo. To finish, we were served ice cream before heading home. It was a fantastic day; the services here are top-notch. Thanks to the host, all the staff, the grooms, the trainers, the cooks, and a special thanks to Tommy. Tommy was very professional, caring, attentive, patient, and always positive and calm. I highly recommend this place to visit, regardless of your level of horseback riding experience. It's worth every dollar, and you definitely won't regret it.
