Come and see the Perito Moreno Glacier like never before, at water level! You will be able to contemplate its extraordinary size, hear the noise and feel the movement in an unforgettable way. Our guides will be with you at all times, in a kayak, to explain how to move safely in these amazing glacial waters. After selecting your equipment and getting ready, we'll head to the lakeshore for safety briefings and some warm-up exercises. Once in the water, you will paddle in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier in your kayak, while our guide accompanies you closely, an experience that you will remember forever, for 1 hour and 30 minutes. After the activity, we will return to the meeting point to enjoy hot drinks and snacks. In addition, you will have approximately 2 hours of free time to walk the walkways and continue enjoying this impressive natural environment. Don't miss this unique adventure!

  • Pasarelas Perito Moreno, El Calafate, Argentina
    Short stop to take pictures and continue to the catwalks of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Once there and once spare parts of the astonishment that will cause us the imposing of the landscape, we will cross the stairs or walkways to obtain different views of the front of the Glacier, of 5 km. It is necessary to remember the importance in the respect that we must have for the signage that this part of the Park has, and to walk the walkways at all times without leaving them. The park guards are responsible for the preservation of the beauties of the place and fulfill an important task as informants, which is complemented by the story and the permanent assistance of our guides, who accompany the travelers along the entire route.

    We welcome you to our base of operations, where you will get dressed and our expert kayak guides will brief you on safety and explain how to paddle through these amazing glacial waters. No previous kayaking experience is required. Once ready, we will kayak from Playa de los témpanos, paddling towards the front of the glacier, so that it completely impacts us, approaching about 600 meters away. We will stop to take unique images of this moment, while we learn more about this fascinating place

  • The Full Day program begins at 8:00 am or 10 am (depending on availability) with pick up at hotels in Calafate. After traveling 74 km we will arrive at Los Glaciares National Park, at approximately 9:30/10.30 AM
  • Includes transfer from El Calafate + Lunch Box.
  • This service is non-refundable for cancellations made within 4 days prior to the service date. However, if you need to modify your reservation, such as adjusting the number of participants, changing the date or requesting a cancellation with a refund, we can accommodate your request as long as it is made at least 4 days before the date of service.
  • The guides will provide you with the necessary equipment: a Gore-Tex dry suit, thermal suit, boots, gloves and life jacket
  • After selecting your suits and getting ready, we'll head to the shores of the lake for safety briefings and to warm up with some exercises.
  • You will find yourself sailing with your kayak in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, an experience that you will never forget, for 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • If you don't have previous kayaking experience, our guides will explain how to safely navigate these amazing glacial waters.
  • Free time of approximately 2 hours to walk the catwalks
  • The start time of the tour will depend on availability at the time of reconfirmation of your reservation. For this reason, you can only know the schedule once the agency sends you the confirmed itinerary.
  • Minimum age required: 14 years. People between 14 and 18 years old must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians
This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We were a group of 8 people. Nobody else was in the kayak. Our sguides were super friendly and open to any question - in Spanish and in German! On the lake we were offered alfajores and coffee. Back on shore we still had time to walk on our own and received a packed lunch. A very successful trip and definitely worth the money!!

We had an amazing day with Lou kayaking around the Perito Moreno glacier. Lou is an exceptional guide, with great knowledge and a great attitude. She made sure we were safe, had fun, and learned a lot - she also gave great recommendations on where to have coffee and food for the fest of our stay in the town. The tour was well organized with pickup from our hostel, safety brief and gear check, a good amount of time kayaking and exploring, then we had time to explore on our own, walking around the footbridges. Getting to see the glacier from below as well as above made us feel like we truly explored this place.
