    Full Day Including Transfer from El Calafate Program: The Full Day Program starts with the picking up at the Calafate Hotels, then the drive (74 Km) to Los Glaciares National Park, arriving at about 9:30.From 9:30 to 11:30, you have two hours to explore every corner of Perito Moreno Glacier from the footbridge. The Perito Moreno Kayak Experience begins at 11:30 (our guides will confirm the exact location)…and so the adventure begins! You will be welcomed into our dome where you will select your gear and dress. You will be provided with a Gore-Tex dry suit, thermal suit, boots, gloves, and life jacket. From 12:30 to 14:00 Paddling in Lago Argentino on the north face of Perito Moreno Glacier.At 14:00 Return to the dome for hot drinks and snacks, and a quick change while pictures are loaded.At 15:00 Transfer back to El Calafate. Arrival time at your hotel is around 17:00. Departures: Every day – except June & July Kayaks: Clients use double kayaks. Clients will use grouped in pairs Equipment included: waterproof drysuit, thermal suit, boots, life jackets Double kayak (more stable) with paddles and dry bag Paddle Drysuit with Gore-Tex Life Jacket Sprayskirt Thermal suit Kayak boots
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
  • Children between 14 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult

I am a single traveller. When I booked this activity, the price was the same as two persons. However, the operator put me on a double kayak with another single traveller. It was unreasonable to charge me double unless I was put on a single or double kayak on my own or paddling with the guide. The operator argued that the price was for one person, by covering their eyes on the fact that it was equal to the price for 2 persons. This operator (Ripio Turismo or Miloutdoor) is not an honest company.

The company was professional and protective of their clients. UNfortunately, there will always be one or two CLIENTS who won't follow the rules endangering themselves because of their stupid actions. A couple did everything they were told not to do and eventually tipped over in the ice cold water. The rescue boat is a zodiac with a motor and had them out within 2 minutes. This famous glacier calves almost EVERY DAY MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY breaking off icebergs that can be the size of multi-story buildings. On top of that, the infamous Patagonia winds could kick up to 30 knots per hr. Imagine that pushing you towards the glacier and you don't have any experience paddling? I've been kayaking for decades and this was a great albeit short paddle. They provide everything you need: fantastic boats, paddles, dry suit and thermal underwear, boots. They even take many many pictures on their GoPros which are shared for free because NO cell phones are allowed. If you're taking selfies, you're not paying attention. What's so ridiculous was that the guy who tipped over actually thought he was "cool" that he did so! Take it from an experienced paddler: people who swim because of stupid actions are not respected nor are they cool. Don't be that person. Just go out there, paddle safely and have a great time.
