My husband and I had a superb time on this adventure. The guides were very informative on the drive to the ranch and on the hike. We were very fortunate to only have one other couple on the hike so felt we had a private tour. The site for the hike was beautiful and at times somewhat challenging for those not in great shape. Remember the altitude!. The guide was conscientious of this and did pace according to the group and included rest stops. The scenery is incredible even with cloud coverage. We stopped numerous times for photo ops. The lunch at the end was fabulous. The ranch setting outside was perfect for a tasty meal of meat, sausage, chicken, vegetables, salad and dessert. And of course the wine! I would recommend this trip and comply with the directions of appropriate clothing. Pants are needed as well as layering. Walking through brush and the change in temperatures requires the appropriate clothing. Those that did not prepare were fortunately provided some pants/jackets from the those living at the ranch thankfully. Still living the dream of trekking the Andes!!!
