The Astor Piazzolla Theater was built in 1915 with materials brought especially from Europe by Italian artisans. You will feel that you are transported to the Buenos Aires of the early twentieth century. Its style is Belle Epoque and it has perfect acoustics, located in the basement of the Güemes Gallery, an Art Nouveau design building from 1915 declared Architectural Heritage of the City of Buenos Aires.

    Piazzolla Tango is the center for art and tango entertainment in Buenos Aires.Founded in 1915 by Italian architect Francisco Gianotti, the theater that houses Piazzolla tango is one of the most luxurious and classic theaters in all of Buenos Aires. As you wind through the theater and into the tango hall you will find yourself in the underground art nouveau General Guemes Gallery where you will enjoy the show. You will be taken through the music and dance by classic composers such as Piazzolla, Pugliese, Gardel, Mores Discepolo and others.

Excellent show! I recommend it! The only negative is that we only had transportation on the way back to our vrbo. Great experience for a short visit to Buenos Aires!

Service de transport depuis l'hotel en retard, show et nourriture moyens, malgré de bons danseurs. Quasiment pas de grands classiques duTango. A noter cependant l'amabilité des organisateurs

The food was great, the service was great, the show was fantastic! We would highly recommend. The only thing is that when you are picked up at 7, fed at 8:15, the show doesn’t start until 10:00, it makes for a very long night.
