During your roughly 45-minute journey, admire the Argentinian countryside as your guide explains the country’s passion for polo and the exceptional talents of the horses and players. Arrive at a polo center and enjoy a welcome snack of empanadas and Argentinian wine during a fascinating talk about this niche sport. Hear how Argentina’s horses are bred and trained and how blood lineages are continued. After learning about the time and energy invested in the horses, expect to be blown away by the pace of a live polo game! Watch a high-octane match of four chukkas (time periods) involving 30 horses as your guide describes the techniques and rules. At lunch, savor an included Argentinian asado (barbecue) of scrumptious grilled meats, or opt for a vegetarian dish, accompanied by Argentinian wine. Then, lounge by an outdoor swimming pool or soak up the rural views on a stroll. After you've digested and relaxed, get ready for a polo lesson! Start with a safety briefing, and then climb onto a horse that matches your riding ability. Don't worry if you've never been on a horse or played polo: this lesson is suitable for all skill levels. Really well done. Excellent guide with us throughout the day. All staff very warm/welcoming. Never been on a horse before, but there we were up on a horse and smacking a polo ball around. Food and wine were very good and plentiful. Had a wonderful time.

No trip to Buenos Aires would be complete without this Polo Day experience. This was our second visit and from the moment our hostess, Victoria, picked us up until the moment she dropped us off, can only say 'outstanding'. She was the perfect hostess - friendly, helpful and so informative. We had a beautiful sunny day, watched an interesting polo match, had a fabulous BBQ lunch with the players. We had the privilege of interacting with players and others involved - just outright excellent. Even though we didn't pluck up enough courage to play, we had the lovely experience of putting on all the polo gear and sitting on the ponies. For my husband and I, one of the highlights of our Argentine journey. Hugely recommend this and a big thank you to all involved, especially Victoria and Celia.

A fantastic day trip and experience from Buenos Aires and by the far the best trip we have booked in! We thoroughly enjoyed watching the Polo match and learning to play the sport, we were given plenty of time to enjoy each part of the day and we’re not rushed through anything. The food and drink was in abundance and we got to experience it all with a great group of travellers and local polo players, we have absolutely no complaints! Thanks to the team for making this an unforgettable experience
