Due to damage from a severe storm in Buenos Aires a few months ago, the regular cruise port terminal is undergoing renovations and our cruise line informed us of new departure/checkin location and to ensure we did not arrive before our check-in time window because of the extra steps and people flow issues with temporary location. Our driver made adjustments based on traffic to ensure he picked us up at hotel a bit later so that we wouldn’t arrive too early and have to wait longer or be turned away. We were picked up in a a lovely, clean van, and our driver even had an extra step to help with some in our family with mobility issues get into the van more easily. He had experience dropping off at the new location and helped to get our many bags closer to entry marked on our ticket so the bags could be scanned and checked in more quickly.
