We booked a 4 hour private tour of Buenos Aires with de Passeios. The price was reasonable but the experience was not. We were extremely disappointed with our tour guide. He picked us up at our hotel by car, drove us to a few areas of the city, did minimal explanation, parked the car each time, then just told us to walk around by ourselves. For example, “the cathedral is over there, go in and look, come back to the car in 15 minutes”. Same with almost every other highlight- the bookstore, the Red palace, the Women's bridge, the flower sculpture, etc etc. in the Recolleta cemetery, he did walk us around for 15 minutes , but when we asked for more details, he said it was too complicated and we would just be bored . i’m not sure if this is normal behavior for this company's guides, but it was not what we expected, and a very poor experience for us. I sent a note to the company explaining what we experienced, but have not heard back. I would actually expect at least a partial refund.

Our guide Howard, although he was British, was very knowledgeable and informative. He guided us through the city and provided valuable information. He was also very accommodating to our needs.

Howard was amazing and full of information. Favorite place to see was mausoleums. Loved the cultural area of LA Ricotta. Rose gardens were spectacular.
