Amazing sights. The salt flats are magical and purmamarca is beautiful. It is a long trip as the drive from salta to purmamarca takes 3hrs. I wish the van stopped in a few more spots to take quick photos as there are many viewpoints. Purmamarca has a market with alpaca sweaters, toy alpacas, hats, etc... like a mini peru. Salt flats cost 4000 ars cash per person.

The sights are impressive and worthwhile to see. However, the agency should not start pickup half an hour before the booked departure and ensure that the drop off is the same as pickup, not some hundreds meters away. Also, the driver should be more considerate to his passengers, to stop them flying off their seats.

Fernando and Mauro are the best guides you can ask for. Fernando speaks several languages such as Spanish, English, German and Russian. He also knows a lot about the geology, culture and history of the region. He is amazing
