Esquina Homero Manzi has been declared a National Historic Site based on the contributions to Tango culture in Argentina. Some of the most iconic tango songs were created here. Homero Manzi a famous lyricist wrote the famous song called Sur in this venue in 1948.

You will spend more time on the bus than at the tango place. The service at the Homero Esquina was bad. The show was fine. Save yourself time and money, and simply take a taxi to Homero Esquina (or another tango show) -- then pay the entrance fee , get yourself a bottle of wine (without dinner), and enjoy the show - since that's what you came in for.

There are so many tango shows to choose in Buenos Aires, so we decided to ask the locals. Our waitress in a restaurant recommended this one. It happened to be the one much cheaper than most of the others so we decided to see it. We bought show only as most reviewers mentioned that dinners are not very good at these shows. We arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled time and were seated at the front table right before the middle of the stage - the best location possible. The show started 15 minutes late. The musicians, singers and dancers were all excellent. The show lasted about 70 minutes and we really enjoyed it. Great Buenos Aires experience!

With so many tango shows available, it was very hard to choose the right one. This was recommended to us by a local, and it was a perfect choice. We did show only and wound up sitting right in front of the middle of the stage. The musicians, singers and dancers were wonderful. Great Buenos Aires experience!
