We will take the train at the End of the World Station. On board the train you will be able to hear the story of the prisoners and delight in magnificent landscapes. You can enjoy this experience aboard a vintage railway, with its steam locomotives and elegant cars that have large windows and an individual audio system, the which offers the possibility of listening to the story in 7 different languages, in order to not only appreciate the nature that surrounds it, but also know a very important part of the history of Ushuaia. The trip continues to the National Park Station, contemplating the magnificent landscape offered by mountains and valleys near its border. Arriving at the National Park Station, our last stop, your guide will be waiting for you to continue your visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. At the end of the excursion, we will return from the National Park to Ushuaia in a shared transfer. Train ticket confirmation is subject to availability.

On board the train you will be able to hear the story of the prisoners who came daily to cut wood to this area, and delight in magnificent landscapes, composed of the zigzagging Pipo River, the La Macarena waterfall, the tree cemetery and the majestic forest of lengas In this way you will visit an inaccessible part of the Tierra del Fuego National Park, where you can enjoy this experience aboard a vintage railway, with its steam locomotives and elegant cars that have large windows and an individual audio system, the which offers the possibility of listening to the story in 7 different languages, in order to not only appreciate the nature that surrounds it, but also know a very important part of the history of Ushuaia.

  • Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego, Ushuaia, Argentina
    Arriving at the National Park Station, our last stop, your guide will be waiting for you to continue your visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. The National Park represents the southernmost protected area in Argentina. It is the only one that has sea coasts and mountains. On this tour we will visit the Pipo River, Monte Susana, Acigami Lake, Alacush Visitor Center, Laguna Verde and Lapataia Bay where the Pan-American route system ends. We will make descents to take photographs and a walk of about 30 minutes that will be subject to weather conditions. The topography of the Park is extremely varied, being a succession of steep mountains, rivers, valleys, lakes until accessing the coast of the Beagle Channel. Throughout the year you can admire the subantarctic forest. The most common mammal is the Fuegian red fox. The variety of marine and mountainous environments allows bird species to live here.

    They cancelled our tour at 8:00pm the night before we were supposed to go. They wanted us to change days, but we had no other days. I would never use this company.

    Es una lástima que tanto Viator como el operador se laven las manos y no tenga manera de recuperar mi reembolso. Realicé una reserva a través de VIATOR y GRAY LINE ARGENTINA nos ofreció este tour (Tierra del Fuego National Park with the End of the World Train - Premium Class (17055) ) me contactó Gray Line por medio de WhatsApp comentándome que el operador le había informado que lamentablemente no tenían disponibilidad y que por favor cancelara la reservación, les comenté que tenía que autorizar que estaba consiente que no tenía derecho a recibir el reembolso a lo cual me respondieron “con la cancelación no se precupe, porque Viator si o si nos consulta a nosotros para dar reembolsos” Han pasado 4 días y la empresa donde reservé solo me dice que es tema de TripAdvisor/Viator y me escriben “ Estimada, debe entender que la reserva se gestionó con otra empresa y ellos son quienes cobraron su reserva. Por nuestra parte la cancelación fue gestionada y se les solicitó que gestionen el reembolso. No podemos gestionarlo nosotros porque no somos quienes recibimos su dinero” No hay opciones para comunicarme y en conclusión NADIE RESUELVE.

    Half-day or half-day visit to the Park. The first thing they do is take you to the End of the World Train. It's okay, it was very cold (-8º in the morning) and it took a short journey (otherwise it would be done by bus or in a car) with two stations, and creating the train that was made to transport the prisoners who there was in a prison in Ushuaia and remember a little about the life they lived. They tell you through headphones with several languages. Once you finish this journey, you will tour and get to know part of the National Park. It is a beautiful park with a multitude of endemisms in its flora, and it borders Chile. You take a walking tour through the area, you go through the Lapataia River area and you also reach the bay of the same name. It is easy to see birds in zone C or the Patagonian thrush, Remolinera, pintails, caranchos and others. In short, it is an essential visit and we had a great morning. A visit becomes inevitable, truly knowing a minimal part of an area that occupies the southernmost place in Argentina and Chile.
