This tour will allow you to navigate Rio de la Plata river and cruise through Delta aboard a classic motor sailboat. You’ll have a chance to kayak and swim and also enjoy a delicious Argentinian ‘picada’. Visit Tigre, admire the beautiful houses and see local life.   • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

After a month of ports and excursions, we looked forward to a calm day on the water with a great host. On the drive to the marina, he pointed out many sites and told us about them. When we arrived at the 30+ ft boat, we settled in for scenic ride upriver. We went into tributaries, watched cormorants fish. saw wrecks, We watched a very young kids sailing class along the way. They were surprisingly skilled. It was interesting seeing all of the worker homes settled on squatted islands. I even got to try a little fishing though I didn't catch anything but I had fun in a serene setting with wildlife around. Our host catered a very nice spread on the boat while we anchored. We could have kayaked also. When we docked, we had a nice meal at the club resturant, then on the drive back we stopped at an amazing cathedral. It was a relaxing change from our busy cruise around South America.

Relaxing day on the Delta on a private boat. Alex was the perfect host, supplying food and drinks. Very knowledgeable about the area and about boating. If you need a down day to recover from crazy tourist stuff would recommend this.

I enjoyed a fascinating tour of the Tigre Delta with guide Alex. The delta is full of birds, narrow waterways with changing currents and sand bars. Alex provided excellent narrative and made sure the guest had the best experience possible. The tour included a great lunch and fun kayaking. I give this high marks.
