An extravagant barbecue lunch with limitless wine is also included. Travel the old Trans-Andean railway via minibus on this 8-hour small-group tour. With your guide, pass the snow-capped Cordón del Plata and stop by the turquoise Potrerillos lake on your way to the mountain town of Uspallata. After passing through Penitentes Ski Resort you’ll reach Aconcagua National Park. On your return back you will have the opportunity to stop and see Puente Del Inca, a naturally formed bridge over a steep ravine. Once in Uspallata you’ll enjoy an afternoon lunch of Argentine asado (local style barbecue - not gourmet) before concluding your tour at approximately at 5:30pm.

I had an amazing experience. Unlike any other experience i have ever had. It was super easy and quick way to see the mountains. It was a dream of mine to see the range and the staff was friendly + very knowledgeable! my only regret was not having more time to actually hike. You only have about 20+ mins to hike into the park. We had time to stop by a local town and the food was amazing. All the meat + wine was included. I highly recommend this experience if you have never been in the area and have a short amount of time

I would like to start with the good things about this tour: we were taken to some beautiful sights, and thanks to great weather, the view of Aconcagua was excellent. The lunch was also what felt like an authentic asado in a place where locals were eating.
On the con side, the biggest issue was that there were no available bathroom stops for the first 2.5 hours of this tour. I would caution people taking this tour to avoid coffee/caffeine prior to pick up as it will be quite awhile before you are brought to a place for a break. Secondly, this was primarily a spanish language tour with the guide also translating into english; it seemed that sometimes he would forget to translate portions of the tour into english for those of use who needed it.
