This moderate difficulty trekking will take through several different environments. From the big valley full of peat moss, through the beaver dams and the fuegian wood, to finally arrive the Emerald Lagoon in between mountains. You will be be amazed by the different colors through trek. The expert mountain guide will talk about the landscape and the fauna and flora that you will see see along the trail.This is the perfect afternoon for nature lovers!    **The pick up schedule will always be confirmed the day before in the afternoon. It may vary in order to provide the best experience for our customers**

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Ushuaia. The day prior to the excursion, we will advise exact pick up time.

  • Laguna Esmeralda, Ushuaia, Argentina
    We leave from the hotels around 9 in the morning. We drive through the National Road N ° 3 to the north, entering in the valleys region and getting away from the Beagle Channel. We begin the trek of moderate difficulty and we will pass through a peat moss area, Fuegian forests and continue along the stream that will finally take us to its origin, the Emerald Lagoon. It will be 4.5 kilometers one way with a drop of 200 meters. Once in the lagoon we will have time to rest and enjoy the lunch box. On the path we will find beaver dams and we can witness the impact they generate in the forest.

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult - Minimum age to take this tour is 6 years old
  • Vegetarian and Gluten Free option is available, please advise at time of booking if required.
  • Dress Code is important: You must have comfortable trekking shoes, preferably waterproof. Waterproof jacket and a small daily backpack. We recommend to always have a spear pair of socks.
  • Use of sunglasses and Sunblock is a recommended.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Lugar de beleza única não só pela lagoa em si, mas pela fauna, flora e região. Vale a caminhada. O nível de dificuldade é médio e é recomendável utilizar calçados e roupas adequadas para caminhadas em montanha.

excelente actividad el trekking a Laguna Esmeralda. nuestra guia, Noe, fue encantadora. los paisajes y el rato sentado frente a la laguna maravillosos. con TdF Aventura hicimos todas las actividades de nuestro paso por Ushuaia y la organizacion la hicieron muy bien. su atencion y ayuda, excelente.
