    Ushuaia, capital of Tierra del Fuego, is located on the banks of the Beagle Channel. Framed by the Martial Mountains, it offers us a unique landscape in Argentina where mountains, sea, glaciers and forest coexist. During the tour we will visit the Barrio La Mision where the first settlement that gave rise to the city of Ushuaia was made. We can also appreciate the Provincial Legislature (former Government House), and we will visit the upper part of the city where we will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel. Throughout the visit, we will be able to observe old houses belonging to the first Fuegian families. Finally we will go to the Maritime and Ex Criminal Museum of Ushuaia, where the excursion will end. There you will have the possibility to stay visiting the museum or return to the hotel ** Entrance and visit to the museum not included **

They never showed up ! I had been calling them for the previous 2 days to confirm if they would pick me up from our hotel. No answer. Left several messages and sent emails. No answer ! Decided to go to meeting point at Albatros Hotel. Waited an hour and they never showed up, nor called to explain.

Tomé el trencito que hace el city tour, re lindo. Muy buena la explicación de la guía. Hace un recorrido por la ciudad, que ayuda a conocerla un poco mejor. Interesante la laguna del diablo, hermosos paisajes.

It was a good tour, rather short, but the tour guide knew a lot. The name includes the word “museums” and it is not true. We didn’t visit any museums. And it was not half-day, it lasted only 1h and a half.
