Harichavank Monastery, Armenia Become an element of harmony!
Start the day from Harichavank, a monastery dating back to the seventh century. The monastery is situated in Harich village from where the name of the monastery comes from. The spiritual harmony of the monastery fills your soul and you start a conversation with God.

We continue the way to the second capital city of Armenia, Gyumri. First, have an incredibly delicious lunch at Cherkezi Dzor. Taste Armenian mouthwatering meals here and at the same time enjoy the wonderful nature around the restaurant.

Surp Astvatsatsin or Yot Verk (Seven Wounds) Church, Gyumri, Armenia Know how they have built!
After lunch continue the trip to the city centre and get to know one of the oldest parts of Armenia, which is called Kumayri. In this district, you will see some buildings dating back even to the fifth century, to the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. You will be amazed by the beauty of the style which has existed in Gyumri long ago.
Going down the main street you will come to Yot Verq (Seven Wounds) church. Earlier it was a chapel erected by Kamsarakan princes, where the icon “The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary” was kept. That’s why the church built later was named Yot Verq (meaning “seven wounds”). The interior of the church is generously decorated with paintings. 120 minutes
QRPR+3JH, Vardanants square, Gyumri, Armenia Afterwards, walking to South from the church you will get to the centre of the city called Vardanants Square. It is dedicated to the battle in Avarayr in 451 against the Persians and to our hero Vardan Mamikonyan. Enjoy the lively atmosphere in the square and continue your way to another astounding church. 40 minutes
Church of the Holy Saviour, Gyumri, Armenia Holy Savior’s Church or St Amenaprkich is the highest church in Armenia with its 36m height. Because of the earthquake in 1988, the church was seriously damaged, but fortunately, it was renovated and now welcomes visitors warmly. 30 minutes
Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life, Gyumri, Armenia Let’s end the trip with a visit to the Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life. The museum is an old mansion, housing collections related to both history and the everyday-life of Gyumri as well as the local cultural and architectural characteristics of the city. The museum was built by a famous and rich trader Petros Dzitoghtsyan. Surprisingly, the museum hasn’t undergone even minor damages.
The day ends with a handful of memories, experiences and lasting inner peace.
