On this 3-4-hour tour visit Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral (from outside), the main cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the very first Christian cathedral in the World. It is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Also see the church of St. Gayane and St. Hripsime churches that are among the three churches in Echmiadzin dedicated to the Christian women-martyrs escaped from Rome with their abbess Gayane. Both are listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The final stop is Zvartnots, the medieval temple of St. Gregory built in the 7th century. It was one of the tallest buildings of the time (45-49m). Today the ruins of the temple can be seen in Zvartnots. It is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Foi uma experiência incrível. Conhecemos de perto um pedaço da Arca de Noé e a Lança que furou jesus. Também virmos um pouco sobre o criador do alfabeto armênio e lugares importantíssimos que estão incluídos como patrimônio mundial na UNESCO. A guia Liane foi perfeita ao explicar tudo durante a viagem.

First off, I chose the "no-tour guide" option, so this was pretty much a driver. That being said, he was a friendly guy, the car was newer and comfortable and he was helpful in the sense he made sure I went to the right doors and would even pull me aside and show me things that I might have missed. I thought it was a great trip, it wasn't busy, many of the places have English material and you can get info online on your phone. It was a great morning, the cathedrals were magnificent and driver very friendly and accommodating, even though unless you speak Russian or Armenian, you'll probably be talking through Google Translate.

We had our half day well spent.. our guide Elizabeth was very kind, accommodating and explains very well. we were able to see everything in the tour description and even had some free time for photos.. overall a great tour.
