Visit Alley of Letters that was built in honor to the 1600th anniversary of the creation of Armenian alphabet. This monument is unique not only in Armenia, but all around the world. Next up is lake Kari at the height of 3250m on the slopes of mount Aragats, the highest point of Armenia (4095 m). See Amberd, a fortress on the southern slope of Mount Aragats, founded in the 7th century.

I recently had an incredible tour that took us to the stunning Aragats Mountain, Lake Kari, and the Armenian Alphabet Monument. Each stop was a unique experience, filled with natural beauty and cultural significance. A heartfelt thank you to our guide, Melina, whose passion and knowledge brought each location to life. Her engaging storytelling made the history feel tangible and relevant. Our driver, Goqor, was excellent, navigating the mountain roads with skill and ensuring our comfort throughout the trip.

Amberd fortress is definitely one of the must-see locations in Armenia. It is magnificent. I recommend wearing comfy sneakers though, cause there will be a tiny bit of climbing if you want to observe the landscape from the best pov. Thanks to Anahit and Arakel!
