    St. Hripsime church, which was built on the sepulcher of a Christian nun Hripsime who fled from the Roman Empire and was killed in Armenia. This amazing building has stood upright from the day of its construction since 618 A.D, making it one of the oldest standing churches in the world.

    5 minutes drive away will be the next stop: the 7th century church of St. Gayane. Gayane was the nanny of Hripsime, and shared Hripsime’s tragic fate.

  • Echmiadzin Monastery, Vagharshapat, Armenia
    After having full lunch, you will be able to observe the first world’s first Christian Cathedral – the Holy Ejmiatsin, built in 301-304. According to the legend, Jesus Christ descended on the same spot where the Dissention Altar stands today, where Gregory the Illuminator ordered to build the church.

    Zvartnots Cathedral is a 7th-century centrally planned aisled tetraconch type Armenian cathedral built by the order of Catholicos Nerses the Builder from 643-652. Now in ruins, it is located at the edge of the city of Vagharshapat in Armavir Province of Armenia.

Сегодня у нас была чудесная экскурсия Древние храмы Армении.нам повезло со все:с машиной,с погодой и самое главное с экскурсоводом!Карен нам очень интересно рассказывал о храмах,об истории христианства вАрмении,об истории Армении.Отличный русский язык,отличная рачьи очень занимательный рассказ.Приветливый,хорошо знает о чем рассказывает и к тому же не прочь посмеяться.Экскурсия прошла на одном дыхании…Хочу поблагодаритькомпанию за такхорошо организованную экскурсию.Будем дружить,

Wer nicht viel Zeit hat, dem kann ich die Tour nur empfehlen. Man kann die Startzeit individuell festlegen, für die Tour haben wir 3 Stunden gebraucht, allerdings hatte auch ein Museum geschlossen (Montag), sonst braucht man vielleicht noch etwas länger. Ich wurde pünktlich abgeholt, der Minivan war völlig in Ordnung, sauber, es gab Wasser und sogar Wifi! Das Team war ausgesprochen freundlich, sympathisch und kompetent. Der Fahrer fuhr sehr sicher und machte aus der Tour kein Rennen. Der Führer wusste unheimlich viel, brachte das aber nicht nur als trockenen Fakten, sondern auch wirklich interessante und zum Teil lustige Art und Weise. So blieb die ganze Tour interessant. Es gab auch immer noch ausreichend Zeit, in der man selbst sich noch alles in Ruhe ansehen und Fotos machen konnte. Die Tour hatte ich kurzfristig 2 Tage vorher über das Internet gebucht. Die Kommunikation lief super auf Englisch per Email, sehr schnell und klar, die Bezahlung kann auch auf verschiedene Arten erfolgen, alles war sehr flexibel. Ich kann die Agentur wirklich empfehlen, ich würde auch immer wieder eine Tour darüber buchen. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen ersten Einblick in die Armenische Geschichte und Kultur!
