Monument of Armenian Alphabet-Lori fortress-Odzun Monastery

  • Armenian Alphabet Monument, Artashavan, Armenia
    The Monument of the Armenian Alphabet was built in 2005 in honor of the 1600th anniversary of the creation the national Armenian alphabet by Mesrop Mashtots. Located in an open area, on the road to Mount Aragats, in the Aragatsotn region. There you will have a great opportunity to take a walk in the fresh air and take a memorable photos near the first letter of your name.

  • Lori Castle, Stepanavan, Armenia
    The medieval Lori fortress is located near the city Stepanavan, in the Lori region. Since the 10th century, for many centuries it defended the surrounding villages and was an outpost of that region, after which it was destroyed in the 13th century by the Mongol-Tatar invasion. After the invasion, the people gradually left the fortress and in the end remained only the ruins. Inside are interesting ruins of an ancient defensive structure that you will have the opportunity to research.

  • Odzun Church, Odzun, Armenia
    Odzun Monastery is located on a high slope of the same name village, near the administrative center of this region, the city Alaverdi. Built in the 6th century AD and is one of the most ancient Monasteries in Armenia. In 2014 was made restoration of the temple, after which the Monastery became one of the most visited places by tourists. Also in the Odzun village, which is one of the largest in the Republic, you will have a great opportunity to take a look at the village life.

Fue maravilloso, inolvidable, los paisajes, la comida del lugar, las costumbres. Conocer el museo da una idea cierta sobre los antepasados. Caminar por la montaña, conocer los aborígenes, hablar con ellos, ver cómo viven, sus leyendas. El respeto humano, la verdad en sus ojos. El otro humano que vive fuera de la civilización, en la montaña, nació y morirá allí, sus expresiones, sus cantos dulces,melancólicos. Su preocupación para que los que visitan comprendan la Pachamama, la tierra árida, el desierto.
