Outstanding tour. Mandy is engaging and incredibly knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. Been to the Art Institute multiple times over the years, and I learned more in this fun tour with Mandy than I had previously. We also covered parts of the museum that I had never visited. Absolutely worthwhile experience.

Having a guided tour made our visit more productive and educational. Our guide Joe teaches art history and wasn't just knowledgeable, he helped us think about how we looked at art and learn to appreciate it. The Art Institute is huge so having a guide ensured we made the best use of our time and explored parts of the building we might otherwise have overlooked (like the section with scaled sized miniature rooms from different countries and periods). I'd recommend this tour to anyone and especially the small group tour because it allows you to get the most out of having an expert guide.

We had used a similar tour service in Paris (Paris Muse), and thought we'd try to find something similar for our day at the Art Institute. Fortunately, we found Babylon Tours and they assigned Samantha as our guide. She was amazing - full of knowledge, having studied at the A.I., and with a clear passion for art in general. She provided interesting background and context related to the artists we saw and their artwork - it's this type of education that we really enjoy. We can't wait to go back to take a tour of the Field Museum from Samantha on our next visit.
