We had an exceptional experience with Jeff Classic Tours on our recent visit to Aruba. Jeff was punctual, courteous, and incredibly helpful, which made a big difference as both my husband and his sister-in-law use walkers. Jeff’s kindness and attentiveness allowed us all to feel comfortable throughout the tour.
Jeff provided us with bottled water and introduced us to Pastechi, a delicious local snack—a deep-fried pastry filled with cheese, chicken, or beef. Tasting Aruba’s national snack was a nice touch, adding to the authenticity of the experience.
The tour included several fascinating stops, beginning with the National Archives, where Jeff guided us through Aruba’s rich history. The archives housed a wonderful collection of photographs, capturing the island’s journey over the years. Our next stop, the National Archaeological Museum, was equally engaging. Jeff’s enthusiasm shone through as he shared his knowledge of the exhibits, particularly because he’s a collector himself and regularly attends talks here to stay informed on local developments.
We then visited the Aloe Aruba factory, where we learned about the production of Aruba’s famed aloe products. The tour was informative, and we couldn’t resist picking up a few items from the shop!
Typically, Jeff’s tour includes a donkey sanctuary, but since we’d just visited one on Grand Turk, we asked to go to the Butterfly Sanctuary instead. Jeff kindly accommodated our request, and we paid our own entrance fee since it wasn’t part of the tour. The sanctuary was delightful, filled with butterflies that fluttered around us, and we enjoyed a short talk on their lifecycle.
Jeff’s warmth, knowledge, and flexibility made this one of the best shore excursions we’ve had. I highly recommend Jeff Classic Tours for anyone visiting Aruba!
