Starting with a visit to our historic Aso Shrine, which has a history of more than 2000 years, you can discover the Japanese way of praying. Your guide will then take you to visit the adjacent Monzenmachi, one of the oldest streets in Aso; where many stores are lined up. You'll get to try out the mineral water springs and stroll along the tree covered avenue. After our lunch, we will visit the top of Mount Aso, where you can feel the breath of the earth. It is a real treat to experience our living earth, and how locals link their religion with the surrounding nature.

Very friendly tour guide! We were able to express our wishes. These were taken into account during the tour. The excursion to the volcano was beautiful and the lunch was excellent. She helped us off the tour with the train connection and onsen visit. We are happy to recommend this tour.

During the tour, the guide introduced us to the various attractions of Aso and we had a great time. I experienced the nature of Aso, and thanks to the guide's explanation, my view of Aso changed and I wanted to visit there again. The stories of mythology were especially interesting, and the purification at the Aso Shrine made me feel holy and free from worries. I was able to see Mt. Aso from a different perspective and was very moved by its beauty. I think the departure time should be a little earlier.
