We had an incredible experience! Not every tour/experience is created equal. You need a tour guide that actually speaks English well enough to learn something from, good organization, and friendly and honest people to deal with at every step. These guys delivered it all. Our driver and planner Mido is a great human being and we don’t hesitate to call him to take us around or help us out with something along our trip. We like him a lot. The train ride was comfortable and safe. It’s an early morning so you can snooze on the 3 hour train ride if you’d like. In Aswan we had an excellent veteran guide. His name was Ammar Darwish (try to request him if you can) and a kind driver. Ammar has a great love for his work and country and he was a pleasure to spend the day with. We learned a lot and had a great time! The time spent on the nile and on Philea was really fun and tranquil. This company makes sure you get where you’re going and stay happy along the way. They also take extra care to provide people/guides that speak English well. If you’ve ever walked around a tourist site in Egypt you’ll notice that good English speaking guides are rare.. I’d say 1 out of 10 is actually equipped to have a (mostly) fluent conversation with, so this is a must. If you have the chance to go on this trip definitely do it. It was a highlight of our Egypt trip and I hope it’ll be yours! (The picture is of my wife and Ammar our guide. She was trying on a hijab and Ammar helped her out)

What a blast! My son and I had a busy yet terrific time being shown with detailed explanations the ancient wonders. Two special treats added to our history lessons. First was the hot air balloon sunrise ride over the west bank of Luxor. Second was an unexpected and wonderful lunch in an Egyptian home with very gracious hosts. Our extremely knowledgeable and friendly Egyptologist guides added tremendous value to our experience.
