Rather busy at times but well worth the effort. This is a very interesting site with lots to see and discover.

This site is also known as the temple of Horus. It is well preserved and reflects the Ptolemaic era..This temple is second largest in Egypt after Karnak temple.

spectacular temple..marred by a truly dreadful crush to get through a narrow covered entrance followed by a 90degree turn into the security checks. when all the boats arrive together (as they do) it is a crush of soccer stadium proportions. this needs sorting before a disaster happens (if somone fell they would be trampled on) the temple itself is superb...go when the boats are not in ... and don't use the horse carriages as yhe poor horses are so badly treated. the only way this situation will improve is direct action!
